Rick Little

Rick Little is a specialist in organizational growth and management, having spent over 13 years at the High Line as a principal member of the initial team that guided the organization from start-up through rapid growth, creating one of the most-visited cultural destinations in New York City and a global model of adaptive reuse. Rick’s responsibilities at The High Line centered around the organization’s internal operations—guiding their evolution and expansion as the organization grew in scope and size—and included all phases of leadership across numerous functional areas.

Since leaving the High Line, Rick has continued to advise for-profit companies and nonprofit organizations in the areas of organizational and staff structure, strategic planning, governance, finance, HR, internal culture, policies and procedures, and communications, with a particular focus on companies and organizations looking to scale.

In addition to his consulting work, Rick is also a teacher of Vedic Meditation and a co-founder of The Spring Meditation, and he regularly teaches meditation to individuals and corporate groups in NYC and around the country. Rick is an avid reader and biker, a lover of pit bulls, and an endlessly-curious explorer of the cosmos and consciousness. Originally from Bellingham, WA and a graduate of Bennington College, Rick has lived in New York City for nearly two decades.
